Hi There!
I will start with some exciting news. I have been published for the first time ever! Hooray!! My LO is in Australian Scrapbooking Memories Volume 13 No 8 on page 113. I am not allowed to post the LO just yet but will as soon as I can!
I had more great news last week. I was one of the lucky winners at Websters Pages Lets Celebrate I Spy game. My prize is the yummy new flowers & pins in the Lets Celebrate range!!! I am so xcited. I luv this collection. Thanx so much Websters!!
This is my entry for the June Hybrid/Digital Challenge. I chose to do a hybrid LO. The challenge was to use something from the Yacht Club digital range.
I used 2 of the trims & the nautical banner from the Yacht Club digital range
Some close ups
The above pic shows the 2 digital trims I have used & printed onto white cardstock
The above pic shows the nautical digital flags I have used & printed onto white cardstock
Everything used was from the Yacht Club collection except the Dymo alphas
This next LO is for the Once Upon A Sketch challenge using this sketch by Nadia Cannizo. The journalling criteria was that it had to be 4 sentences on why this photo was memorable
These photos are memorable as it was the first time it really dawned on me that I now had 3 kids!
The papers are a mix of Websters pages & Crate Paper.
This is my entry for teh MCS June Sketch Challenge
This is based on a sketch my Michelle Fowler
Another long post sorry. I have been busy with challenges LOL!
Thanks for looking!
Cheers!

Bird is the Word & MCS June challenge
Hi There!
Bird is the Word latest prompt is - Amazing. I have put together a LO of my baby girl Evie.
Some close Ups
Ok so I have a new Love in my life! I have recently stumbled upon Florabella Photoshop actions. I have purchased the Vintage & Black & White actions. I think they are FAB!! I love that u can change the look of a photo with the click of a button. I used the vintage summerII action on this photo which gives a soft sepia wash but also creates warm colours to really pop.
I have used a Kraft cardstock background & sprayed & splashed some Tourquise Glimmer Mist on it. I then stamped a script stamp & a medium & large butterfly stamp randomly around some of the edges in a stampin up ink chocolate chip.
I used the Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle' collection paper & Prima paper (I forget which one I think Madeline??) I also used some chipboard butterflys in the Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle' collection.
The flowers are mostly Prima, the orange roses are Kaisercraft. The rub on flourish is Prima
The journalling & part of the title was done with a Dymo labeller. To get the white creases I just scrunched the strips in a ball & smoothed it back out to give a worn look. To create the Amazing title I used Kaisercraft plain chipboard letters, painted them white, covered them in dimensional magic then used a superfine glitter over the top. The dimensional magic acts as an adhesive for the glitter. This is a cheap way to create titles that match your LO perfectly!
I have also created a LO for the June challenge at MCS. The challenge is to use a border punch. Here is my interpretation.......
Some close ups
I'm still not real sure that I like this LO. It is a little bit different to what I usually do. I found these papers a bit hard to work with even though the papers are pretty there was nothing much to fussy cut out which is what I love to do!
I have used a border punch in a number of ways in this LO. I have used a scalloped punch on the photo mat. I used the scallop punch again to layer the scallops as a point of interest. I have used a 2 kinds of borders to use as a trim. I have used a floral border as a ruffle to place around a sticker & I have used 2 kind of borders on the edge of my rosettes to give them a different shape!
All paper & stickers are from the June MCS main kit- Basic Grey 'Sweet threads'. The kfrat envelope is by Maya Road which I have covered with paper
PHEW! Long post tonight LOL!
As always Thanks for looking & thanx so much for ur kind words. They put a smile on my face!
Cheers!

Scrap That Baby- Favourite Toy
Hi There!
The new prompt is up at http://www.scrapthatbaby.blogspot.com/ . The theme is favourite toy. Here is my DT example
I have used Sassafrass Lass paper, Scrap FX chipboard, Websters Pages trim, Prima flowers, Crate paper journal dot, ribbon, Echo Park banner stickers & brads.
I used some old Kaisercraft trim as a mask & sprayed the torquise glimmer mist to create some interest in the background.
To tie the ribon along the side I used a hole punch through the side of the photo & just thread the ribbon through.
There is an awesome prize from Wescrap up for grabs this month. Check out this fab kit that could be yours!
Projects are due June 14th. Can't wait to see what you create!!
Congrats to my pal Vicky & also to Ange & Kelly F for having there LO's selected as favourites at Scrap That Baby for the Baby's Day Out Prompt. Awesome job ladies XX
Just wanted to quickly add that I am having some trouble with blogger & haven't been able to leave comments so I haven't been able to send any love out recently. Hopefully the problem will be fixed shortly!!
Thanks for looking!

My Creative Scrapbook LOTW!
Hi There!
I was thrilled to have my LO 'School Days' selected personally by Pam at MCS for LO of the week. It is an honour to be chosen this week as there is soooooooooo much talent in the MCS gallery. Thanks again Pam for choosing my LO!!
I had a bit of a play with some Kaisercraft lime green paint. I used bubble wrap to stamp onto plain white cardstock. I really like the effect. I did a free hand doodled border all the way around twice.
I have used Kaisercraft "Class of 87" collection. The colours for this school range are so bright & fun. I used a classic labeller to journal.
I can't believe Hunter is at school this year (I accidently put the wrong year on the LO it is supposed to be 2011!) He is such a spunky little man & he looks so grown up in his first school photo.
I enjoyed using white cardstock with my school LO that I thought I'd use it again. I was inspired by the bright colours of the photo & wanted to use them throughout the LO.
I have mostly used Echo Park "For the record" collection. I have also used Jennie Bowlin paper & the music sheet is Echo Park "Be Mine" The flowers are from Prima, the die cut is MME Lost & Found & American Craft Thickers
