Once Upon A Sketch

Hi There!

This is my entry for the latest sketch. I have used the song "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac. This is the song  I walked down the aisle to. Everytime I listen to it, it gives me goosebumps. The words are so gorgeous & say how I feel about my Hubby Craig (my High School Sweetheart) Married 7 years , together for 14 years.

I didn'y have any Prima to use for this tutuorial so I made do with the stash I had- not quite as pretty as hers but I like the way my LO turned out. Thanx Janine for you wonderful inspiration!

I can finally post my very first magazine publication. It was a very exciting scrappy milestone for me!
I love this photo of my 3 kids. Hunter & Kayla were welcoming Baby Evie home for the first time & I am so happy to have captured this insanely sweet moment!

This was using Basic Grey "Curio" collection, Teresa Collins frame, Prima flowers , chipboard journal tag & butterflies, Kaisercraft rub on & flourish
I have another LO being published in a couple of months. Can't wait to share it with you!

I have used Websters Pages Lets Celebrate collection. Both of the frames are digital frames I have printed onto white card. I love the Lets Celebrate collection. It is so fun & bright & perfect for birthday cards

They have the most lucious, beautiful flowers. Here is a LO using Grandma's Garden - Pink Lace & Enchanted Little Princess collection

I have used CP "Emma's Shoppe" as a bcakground & then used a few scraps of old Kaisercraft paper, Sassafrass Lass & MME.
The crystal spray is by Green Tara, Martha Stewart Doiley's, the gorgeous bling button & delicate lace is from Spotlight.
I have used Tim Holtz liquid Perals in Petal pink around the circle.
The quote is printed on some Transparent paper

Scrap That Baby- Whaky Words

Hi There!

The new prompt is up at Scrap That Baby. This prompt is Whaky Words. You can do a LO about the funny things ur kids say or their first words etc.
This is my DT example

This is a photo of my DD Kayla & her little buddy Tom. Don't u just LUV both of their cheeky grins!!
Every time I take a photo of Kayla she says "Say Dora" instead of "say cheese". It is so cute when she says it & we both have a laugh so it is easier to get a smiling shot from her!
Here are some close ups

I have used a combination of Echo Park "Life is good" paper & stickers & soem Pink Paislee "soiree". The flowers are from Petaloo & the alphas are American Crafts Thickers. I have used my new Die-Namics doily die cut which is so pretty!
