Kaisercraft Flora Delight- Love Card- Sassy Scrapper

Hi There!

I'm sharing my last post for Feb using the Kaisercraft Flora Delight collection. I have put together a simple card that was quick & easy to do!

I have kept the sentiment simple with just the word 'Love' so you could use the card for anything from Engagement Parties & weddings to Birthdays or Mothers Day

I used some Kraft cardstock as a base to give a more vintage feel

I left the Kaisercraft wooden frame raw so that it would blend with the kraft paper

I have used lots of collectable with the sentiment, frame & flourishes. Some flowers, seam binding & bling were used to finish off the look!

Products from the shop
Kaisercraft Flora Delight Chique
Kaisercraft Flora Delight Enchanting
Kaisercraft Flora Delight Collectables
Kaisercraft paper blooms- Coral
Kaisercraft wooden flourish-Frames
Kaisercraft Flourish Decorative Antique Gold

You can find Kaisercraft Flora Delight in the shop here

Don't forget you still have until Feb 28th to get your entry in for the Feb sketch challenge!

Love is in the Air- Sassy Scrapper

Hi There!

February is the month for love! I do love my Hubby to the moon & back but as a Mum I tend to scrap more about my love for my kids! This page is using the new Kaisercraft Flora Delight collection which is great for scrapping about family & loved ones.

The collectables pieces have lots of little quotes or titles about love & fufilling your dreams in this collection which I love to use on my pages but they are also perfect for cards

I focused on the grey & green colours in the collection for this page to give a nice soft background. Using the magenta for a pop of colour! I love this cheeky photo of my Evie Jools. In case you can't tell she is in the middle of a very BIG 'say CHEESE'!! LOL

The Kaisercraft 'love' Rub on also helped carry the theme throughout the page.

Reveal Time at My Creative Scrapbook!

Hi There!

It's reveal time at My Creative Scrapbook! Love is in the air with all the gorgeous kits Pam has put together! I had fun working with the Main Kit which looks like this

It is filled with Crate Paper Fourteen collection with a bit of Authentique also. I haven't worked with Crate Paper for a while so I was excited to get this collection. Crate Paper have beautiful chipboard stickers that are so much fun to play with !

There are so many beautiful patterns to chose from in this collection. it was so hard to decide which sides of the paper to use!

I fussy cut some banners to string along the bottom & also fussy cut some envelopes & labels to use on the page. Even though Evie isn't looking at the camera I still love her big smile. This little knitted dress she is wearing is also a fav outfit of mine so I really wanted to scrap a photo of her wearing it!

My Husband Craig was totally stoked to finally have a photo of himself scrapped. He always complains that I only ever scrap the kids & never scrap any pages of the 2 of us so I'm going to try & create a few more pages of us this year! He is my true love just as the title says. We got together at highschool just before my 16th birthday so we have been together almost 16 years which is pretty cool considering I am 31!

There will be a tutorial on the My Creative Scrapbook blog during the month showing how I use pan pastels & masking to add some colour to the background of this page

I hope you enjoyed this months reveal! There are so many more gorgeous projects on the Design Team gallery

Thanks for looking!

My first post for Imaginarium Designs!!

Hi there!

I'm so excited to be sharing my first post with you here at Imaginarium Designs! Imaginarium Designs have so many gorgeous products but I am always drawn to the twords/phrases first. I loved the Brother & Sister phrase chipboard & have so many photos that I can use with it!

Start by applying a coat of gesso. Use a sponge & apply Stampin Up 'Bashful Blue' all over.  Then use Prima chalk ink in Farmer Jeans applying a heavy layer to the bottom of & and Sister adjusting the pressure to a medium layer half way up to Brother. use a sponge & Stampin Up 'Bashful Blue' & gently blend the colours half way up to Brother. As a top coat apply Shimmerz in Sky Blue to the top half of Brother.
To create a vintage/shabby fence first apply some Impasto quite roughly with a small trowel. Once dry apply a coat of Ranger Distress crackle paint in 'Walnut Stain'. When it dries the pint will crack to show the impasto underneath.
Apply a coat of gesso. Once dry use Shimmerz in 'Sky Blue' for a gorgeous translucent colour. Finish off with some bling from Websters Pages

I really wanted a shabby chic/femminine look for this cute photo of Evie. You can't go wrong with these beautiful butterfly pieces to really girly up the page!

Apply a coat of gesso. Once dry apply Versa Mark ink in 'Ash Rose' to the bottom half & Versa Mark ink in 'Laurel Leaf' to the top half. To give some extra bling use some Ranger Liquid Pearls in 'Petal Pink' & Viva Pearl Pen in 'Light Green'
Apply gesso to the lattice door & butterfly. Once dry apply a coat of Ranger Distress Crackle Paint in 'Shabby Shutter'. I applied a really thick coat so that it would crackle more giving a more shabby/distressed look. Apply Versa Mark 'Petal Pink' to the entire butterfly. Use a Viva Pearl Pen in 'Ice White' to the top half of the butterfly. Paint some Modge Podge on the bottom half of the butterfly. While it is still wet sprinkle Shimmerz Enamelz in Sparklicious then dry with a heat gun.

Apply gesso to the oval bracket. Once dry apply white acrylic paint. Ink the edges with Ranger Distress Ink in 'Walnut Stain' to the edges. Add some Liquid Pearls in 'Petal Pink'.
