Once Upon A Sketch- Love you 3

Hi There!
As you can see I have had a play around with my blog & changed the look. I was feeling in a funky mood & decided to go with a fresh, bright look.
What do you think?? I created the header myself but I'm still not 100% sold on it yet. I used Glitz Designs digital Wild & Free.
I'm excited I finally got the chance to play along with Once Upon A Sketch again! It's been a while & it felt so good creating a page that wasn't for DT work for something different.
Here is the sketch created by the lovely Nadia Cannizzo

& this is what I came up with

I just bought some Crate Paper On Trend which has been out for a while but I loved the bright colours & felt like doing something a bit different. To create the background I sprayed some Shimmerz in Tuscan Sun, then used a Prima mask with some Shimmerz Texturez Tidy Widy. I used a shimmerz lid & mist lid to stamp some yellow shimmerz & green lime shimmerz.

The Love you in the title are from the Glitz Design digital Wild & Free kit. The Love was printed on transparent paper & the you on photo paper

I have used a mix of Prima & Kaisercraft flowers. The resin Cameo is from Websters Pages

The chippes are new from Imaginarium Designs . I have just painted them in gesso then used my fingers to dab on some Shimmerz in yellow & Green Lime

The theme for the sketch is Lucky. My journalling reads- I feel so lucky to have 3 happy, healthy, beautiful kids. You always make me smile at the crazy things you do!

Joy is Contagious- Sassy Scrappers

Hi There! I hope you are all feeling joyful out there! I for one always feel happier when the sun is shining & the footy finals are in full swing! Unfortunately my team didn't make the finals but I still enjoy watching the other teams play! Any way on to scrappy things. I am playing with Kasiercraft Curiosity this month. I'm still fussy cutting everything I can and had a play with a bit of mixed media on this page. I also had a play with my brand new toy which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Has any played with the Martha Stewart Circle edge punch?? It is seriously the neatest scrap toy to have been released recently & I love the different circles you can create. From 12X12" to 6X6" circles with lots of interchangeable borders there is lot's of fun to be had with this little gizmo & it is super easy to use! I had a play with a Kaisercraft template & gesso then sprayed some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Georgia Peach over the top. I let the mist dribble down in some spots. I also flicked some spots of mist in Tattered Angels in Candy Apple Red

This is what I am blabbing on about!! The Martha Stewart Circle edge punch. I have used a 6" circle with Flower Arches cartridge.

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Gift Card

Hi There!
I'm blogging on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog. Today I have a tutorial on making a gift card. I’m guilty of giving a voucher/gift card as a present on many occasions but sometimes I feel a little guilty that I didn’t put in a whole lot of thought into the gift! So I decided to make a card that had a section to slip a gift card into it.

1. Cut a piece of cardstock in half to measure 6″X6″. Score both pieces in half
2. Place E-Z Squares Refillable Dispenser on piece 1
3. Adhere to left side of piece 2 . Round Corners of card
4 & 5. Cut a 5.5″X5.5″ piece from woodgrain paper round corners of paper. Use E-Z Squares Refillable Dispenser to adhere to card base.
6. Adhere 1 large Keepsake Envelope onto paper.
7. Place glitter in glitter tray. Remove backing from Designer Shapes Rectangle largest size (available October1). Dip into glitter tray. Make sure it is completely covered with glitter. Adhere over keepsake envelope.
8&9. Fussy Cut Title box. Adhere using 3D Foam Squares Black Variety Pack

10. Fussy Cut a tag. Adhere Alphas. Make a bow using organza ribbon. Slip into Keepsake Envelope
11&12. Fussy Cut Butterfly & Ticket. Adhere using 3D Foam Squares Black Variety Pack
13. Adhere sequins using Dodz Small
14. Cut 3 pieces of 5.5″ X5.5″ from woodgrain paper. Using E-Z Squares Refillable Dispenser adhere inside card base
15. Fussy Cut tag & adhere to 1st panel using E-Z Squares Refillable Dispenser
16. Place 3 medium size hearts from the Designer Shapes 3D Foam Heart White mix pack along the side of the tag
17. Paint Designer Shapes 3D Foam Hearts White with Shimmerz Hot Pink
18. Fussy Cut oval journal box. Adhere to panel 2 using E-Z Squares Refillable Dispenser

19. Take voucher/gift card & place Photo Corners Classic Style Black around each corner.
20. Adhere on top of oval journal box on panel 2.
21. Fussy Cut flowers. Adhere to panel 3 using E-Z Squares Refillable Dispenser
22. Cut a piece 5.5″X5.5″ from cream paper. Round Corners. Adhere to back of panel 3 using E-Z Squares Refillable Dispenser.

Sassy Scrappers- Curiosity killed the cat

Hi There! Curiosity killed the cat......well not literally LOL but this month I am working with Kaisercraft Curiosity collection.
This is such a unique colleection with a mix of orange, black & green. They are sooooooooooooo not my colours but I was so drawn to this collection because everything is put together beautifully. There are some really gorgeous images of flowers, birds & butterflies to fussy cut along with some great journal boxes. 
It is a great collection to scrap those random family photos & suits both masculine & feminine pages.

To alter the wooden bird cage flourish stamp a background using clear ink & clear embossing powder. Set the embossing powder with a heat gun. Spray Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Black Velvet & Georgia Peach. Set with a heat gun again

The wooden clock flourish was painted with Shimmerz Copper
