Love is in the Air at Scrapz.Biz!

Hi There!

Happy Valentines day! I hope u are all feeling loved & have been spoilt today. A special Valentines hug & kiss for all of u MwahXX!!

If you don't know already Scrapz.Biz holds daily challenges 5 days a week! So much inspiration & fun in 1 place! There is a great mix of challenges including a sketch & colour challenge. This month & next month the theme focuses on different products. Pop on over for some fresh ideas on how to use your fav products in different ways!

 Last weeks challenge was an adventurous Base jump page. If you have never done a Base Jump challenge it is loads of fun. You are given a base to start with, then what you create after that is up to you! This is the base I used for the challenge. The theme last week was mist

Last month I designed a fetching Fetch a Sketch.

The theme was Gelati. I was inspired by gorgeous pastel gelati colours. I have used a combination of Crate Paper Random & Glitz Design Afternoon Muse. The fabric 'happy' is Prima as well as the flowers. You can find these all at the Scrapz.Biz goodz shop

I was very happy to have this LO chosen as LOTW at MCS! Thanx Zoe for choosing my LO!

Ooh La La!!

Bonjour!

My LSS just got a big Kaisercraft order. Although the 'Bonjour' collection has been out for a little while I couldn't resist the precious pastel shabby chic colours & the butterfly & Eiffel tower motiffs were just too cute! I was lucky enough to travel to France in 1998. The views from the top of the Eiffel tower are so incredible!! I would LUV to go back one day!

I decided to have a crack at the Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch Februray #1 for the first time & combined this challenge with the new word challenge over at Bird is the Word. This is the sketch

And my take on the sketch

I cut out the fram on the specialty paper & fussy cut around the Eiffel tower

The new word at BITW is 'journey' which I used in the title 'Enjoy the journey'. I have used Prima alphas

The pink roses are Kaisercraft. The fern leaves are Green Tara which I white washed then added some fine glitter. I got these both at my LSS Scrapbook Sinners

I have created lots of different layers using different patterned paper (all Bonjour collection) & using lace & trims. The die cut is from a MFT die scalloped circle

BITW- Remember

I Have been having fun playing with the MCS Jan LE Kit. It was choc full of Websters Pages Winter Fairy Tales & Prima YUM!! This first LO is my entry for Bird Is The Word. The word is Remember.

This photo if of Kayla & my FIL from xmas eve 2010. I hadn't gottent around to scrapping any 2010 xmas photos so how excited was I to see that Kayla's outfit matched these papers beautifully LOL!

The journalling reads "Always remember you are never too big to be Pa's little girl"

I LUV the purple Websters Petal flower

I used some liquid pearls for decorations on the tree. My new obsession is seam binding AKA crinkle ribbon. It is so deliciously shabby!

A bit of stitching, fussy cutting & another fav product- Prima metal treasures!

This next LO is for the MCS Jan Challenge. The challenge was to make your own embellishments from patterned paper.

I have used the Jan LE Kit from MCS again. I really luv the colours of the Websters Pages Winter Fairy Tales collection. Purple is my absolute fav colour!

The green roses were handmade using this SUPER EASY tutorial that I posted a while back here

I also made this medallion ribbon by fussy cutting the scallop start circle, layered a second fussy cut star on top, added some twine, seam binding, bling & some tags. I think it looks quite cute!

I jazzed up the Prima Metal Treasure with some bling & kindyglitz

I will be back soon. I can't stay away from this collection. I have to do more!!

More Lost & found!

I am still working through my xmas photos & my MCS December LE Kit which was full of MME Lost & Found Christmas. I found a sketch by Creative Scrappers. This is the sketch

And my take on the sketch

I luv Kayla's crazy bed hair while she was unwrapping her presents!

I handmade these tags by stmaping & adding some trim & ribbon for extra interest

This next LO was just because. The photo is of Evie Jools at her 1st birthday party

The background paper is Kaisercraft. The rest is Websters Pages Let's Celebrate

The resin frame is TDF by Mellisa Frances. The pin & handcut flower cupcake are Websters Pages, the yellow flower is Kaisercraft & a Prima powder puff.

This ticket is a Digi image that I printed onto photo paper. I luv using digi images so that you can use them again & again!

Some fussy cutting with the banner. I added some liquid pearls for extra bling!
