Imaginarium Designs- Life is one BIG Adventure!

It's my turn on the Imaginarium Designs Blog . I've been playing with some of Loolabelle's Chevrons & some other bits & pieces.

I don't often do 'pretty' boy pages but I must say that I really enjoy combining masculine & feminine elements onto one page!

I love these new Chevrons. They are so on trend & work well with any style. I have painted some Shimmerz Texturez in Patina to add some texture & a nice pop of teal.

I used some patterned paper to cover the Hot Air Balloon. Simple stick the paper on top & use a sharp craft knife to cut around the shape. To tidy the edges I gave it a light sand with an emery board & inked the edges

I wanted to add some more Orange to my page so I painted the Alphas & Clock with Kaisercraft Acrylic paint in Mango. To grunge the chipboard up & add extra texture I sprinkled some copper embossing powder on while the paint was still wet then dried with a heat gun. The Embossing Powder gives a great metallic finish.

The Honeycomb chipboard is so versatile. It's one of those products that seems to suit any type of page. I have painted these with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in Oil Slick

True Romance Gift Box, Oval Easel Card & Tag

Today I’m sharing 3 projects I created with a truly beautiful shabby chic collection, Kaisercraft True Romance. The pink, peach & seafoam green colour palette is so gorgeous & girly & I had so much fun creating these projects.

I am so excited to say that these were on display at CHA in the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L booth. My first ever projects Iv'e had on display at CHA!!

First up I have created a gift box. I simply pulled a tea bag carton apart & traced around it on some white cardstock. I then cut it out & put it together. I wanted to make sure the carton was stuck together properly so I used the very sturdy Crafty Power Tape 20″/6m in dispenser . To decorate I cut some pattern paper to size using the EZ Runner Permanent strips Refillable Dispenser to stick them down.

I used some lovely shapes from the collectables pack creating layers & dimension with the 3D Foam Squares White Variety Pack. Using my fav product Dodz Medium I adhered an arrangement of Prima & Kaisercraft flowers.

Oval Easel Cards are my favourite card to create. The shape gives that extra special something while still allowing plenty of space for decoration.

Again I have used Dodz Medium, EZ Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser & 3D Foam Squares White Variety Pack to add decoration to my easel card.

Lastly I created a tag to match the card.

Sassy Scrapper - Believe in yourself

Shell Carman here today. Kaisercraft Enchanted Gardens has some gorgeous quotes throughout the collection. The theme centers around believe, magic & dreams. 
I love the quote that is part of the rub ons collection. "Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle". How true is that! My little girl Kayla is full of sparkle but she can be on the quiet side & it doesn't take a lot for her little confidence to come crashing down. The best I can do for her as a Parent is to teach her that she is special & beautiful just the way she is & that sometimes people say nasty things but she should never take any notice of them & let them bring her down.
So this is what I have based my page on today. My hopes that my gorgeous girl will always believe in herself & never let the nay sayers get to her!

To alter the gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chippie I inked with Prima chalk ink Vintage Pink then randomly dabbed Prima chalk ink in Pastel Pink. I then painted a coat of Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze for a pretty sheen. I finished off with some sequins, liquid pearls & Rhinestones

I stuck the rub on onto one of the Collectables tags

Sassy Scrapper- Fairy Dust Card

 I have created a sweet card using the Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden collection for Sassy Scrapper. I wanted to add something a bit different & special so I decided to create a card surrounding some magical fairy dust!

This is such an easy card to make but it is so adorable! The base was white cardstock cut 6X12" folded in half. I then cut a whole approx 1"X 2.5" so that it was big wnough for a small glass bottle to fit in.

I then made to small slits in the back of the card & threaded some organza ribbon. The ribbon was then tied to the glass bottle to keep it in place.

For some extra special magic I put some glitter in the glass bottle for fairy dust.

This is a card that any little girl would love to receive!

My Creative Scrapbook Limited Edition July kit reveal

I'm back with the Limited Edition kit for July at My Creative Scrapbook!

This kit had the gorgeous Websters Pages Plum Seed collection with some fun Basic Grey embellies to play with!

Lot's of gorgeous plums & blues in this collection which matched perfectly with some Autumn photos I was waiting to scrap!
