Imaginarium Designs- Down by the Sea

Hi There

Shell Carman with you today. I have been having a play with some of our gorgeous new chippies. Lot's of pretties to look forward too!

It's cold & drab in my part of Australia right now so I have been pulling out a few Summer pics & finally getting around to scrapping them

I inked the title with Stampin Up Baja Breeze then lighltly dabbing Versaink in Sky Blue over the top. To add some shine I added a coat of Tattered Angel Glimmer Glaze in Icicle

The mesh circle was cut in half. I then inked with Donna Salazar Color Box in Chox & added some Ranger Distress Stickle in Antique Bronze. I couldn't find the colour I was after to alter the compass in any of my mixed media supplies so I used some Nail Polish to paint over the compass! The spinner was painted in Smooch Gold.

To alter the title I inked with Donna Salazar Color Box in Chiffon. To achieve a marble look I dabbed some Color Box in Chox with a sea sponge.

My first post for Imaginarium Designs!!

Hi there!

I'm so excited to be sharing my first post with you here at Imaginarium Designs! Imaginarium Designs have so many gorgeous products but I am always drawn to the twords/phrases first. I loved the Brother & Sister phrase chipboard & have so many photos that I can use with it!

Start by applying a coat of gesso. Use a sponge & apply Stampin Up 'Bashful Blue' all over.  Then use Prima chalk ink in Farmer Jeans applying a heavy layer to the bottom of & and Sister adjusting the pressure to a medium layer half way up to Brother. use a sponge & Stampin Up 'Bashful Blue' & gently blend the colours half way up to Brother. As a top coat apply Shimmerz in Sky Blue to the top half of Brother.
To create a vintage/shabby fence first apply some Impasto quite roughly with a small trowel. Once dry apply a coat of Ranger Distress crackle paint in 'Walnut Stain'. When it dries the pint will crack to show the impasto underneath.
Apply a coat of gesso. Once dry use Shimmerz in 'Sky Blue' for a gorgeous translucent colour. Finish off with some bling from Websters Pages

I really wanted a shabby chic/femminine look for this cute photo of Evie. You can't go wrong with these beautiful butterfly pieces to really girly up the page!

Apply a coat of gesso. Once dry apply Versa Mark ink in 'Ash Rose' to the bottom half & Versa Mark ink in 'Laurel Leaf' to the top half. To give some extra bling use some Ranger Liquid Pearls in 'Petal Pink' & Viva Pearl Pen in 'Light Green'
Apply gesso to the lattice door & butterfly. Once dry apply a coat of Ranger Distress Crackle Paint in 'Shabby Shutter'. I applied a really thick coat so that it would crackle more giving a more shabby/distressed look. Apply Versa Mark 'Petal Pink' to the entire butterfly. Use a Viva Pearl Pen in 'Ice White' to the top half of the butterfly. Paint some Modge Podge on the bottom half of the butterfly. While it is still wet sprinkle Shimmerz Enamelz in Sparklicious then dry with a heat gun.

Apply gesso to the oval bracket. Once dry apply white acrylic paint. Ink the edges with Ranger Distress Ink in 'Walnut Stain' to the edges. Add some Liquid Pearls in 'Petal Pink'.

Shabby Chic goodness for Bird is The Word

Hi There!

Yay it is school holidays now in Victoria & the sun is shining (I say Yay now lets see at the end of 2 weeks if I still feel the same way LOL!)

I have had a play over at Bird Is The Word. The word is 'spirit'
The title is a bit tongue in cheek as I often describe my little  Evie Jools personality as 'Full of Spirit' AKA cheeky monkey!
I finally took the chance to lash out & buy some new Prima that was on my wish list. I had been drooling over the nrew resins, zips & the Tea Thyme collection which I used on this page
The flowers are all Prima & are a mix of old & new product

A closeup of one of the smaller resins & the junkyard finding zip

My fav resin. I think this one is just so sweet!

Another flower cluster of old & new Prima flowers

This page was just for fun. I have used the GORGEOUS September LE kit from My Creative Scrapbook. thsi was full of Prima Romance Novel & the new wooden Prima doors & clocks which I thought were pretty cool!

I tried to embrace the dark grungy colours of this collection & still make it look girl. This pic is my fav of Kayla & I. it was taken at her kinder earlier this year for Mothers Day
The new Prima wooden clock with some Romance Novel blooms. The die is MFT

some Prima wooden tickets & buttons

Another junkyard finding zipper & the alphas are Prima Romance Novel too
Thanks for looking!
Cheers
