Neon Love- Sassy Scrappers

Hi There!    I'm so excited to be back for another year at Sassy Scrappers! We have lots of great things planned and have kicked off our first mood board challenge (Details below) This month I am playing with Prima Optimist. I love the contrast of the black with bright yellow, teal & fuchsia.   This pic was taken on New Years Eve. My kids love to adorn themselves in as much neon glow in the dark jewellery as possible and pretend they are aliens LOL!  

  I have fussy cut some of the blackboard images and some flowers and layered them with some gorgeous Optimist flowers

Sassy Scrappers- St Nicholas Easel Card

Hi There!

So it is the start of school holidays in Victoria. 1 half of me says yay no swimming, ballet, footy & footy training for 2 weeks while the other half of me is already going nuts listening to the fighting, whinges of I'm bored & hungry LOL!
Today I have an easel card using the new Kaisercraft St Nicholas collection. I have made this a bit differently by adding a flip top gift box underneath the card. Perfect for candy canes or chocolate surprises! This collection is a gorgeous vintage/traditional xmas collection. Lot's of beautiful images to fussy cut too!

Joy is Contagious- Sassy Scrappers

Hi There! I hope you are all feeling joyful out there! I for one always feel happier when the sun is shining & the footy finals are in full swing! Unfortunately my team didn't make the finals but I still enjoy watching the other teams play! Any way on to scrappy things. I am playing with Kasiercraft Curiosity this month. I'm still fussy cutting everything I can and had a play with a bit of mixed media on this page. I also had a play with my brand new toy which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Has any played with the Martha Stewart Circle edge punch?? It is seriously the neatest scrap toy to have been released recently & I love the different circles you can create. From 12X12" to 6X6" circles with lots of interchangeable borders there is lot's of fun to be had with this little gizmo & it is super easy to use! I had a play with a Kaisercraft template & gesso then sprayed some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Georgia Peach over the top. I let the mist dribble down in some spots. I also flicked some spots of mist in Tattered Angels in Candy Apple Red

This is what I am blabbing on about!! The Martha Stewart Circle edge punch. I have used a 6" circle with Flower Arches cartridge.
